Jack and the Beanstalk

Jack lived with his mother in a small house. They were poor and only had one cow for milk, a little bread, and some rice to eat.

杰克和妈妈住在一间小屋里。他们家很穷，只有一头牛可以挤牛奶，还有一点点面包和一些米饭可以吃。

One day, Jack traded the cow for magic beans. His mother was angry, but that night, a giant beanstalk grew to the sky. Jack climbed up and found a giant's castle.

有一天，杰克用那头牛换来了一些神奇的豆子。妈妈很生气，可是当天晚上，一根巨大的豆茎长到了天上。杰克顺着豆茎爬上去，发现了一座巨人的城堡。

Inside, a golden goose could lay a golden egg! Jack also found a giant banana tree, full of fruit. He took the golden egg and ran home. Jack and his mother never went hungry again — they had milk, bread, rice, and bananas for every meal.

城堡里，一只金鹅能下出金蛋！杰克还发现了一棵结满果实的巨大香蕉树。他拿着金蛋跑回了家。从此以后，杰克和妈妈再也不用挨饿了——他们每餐都能吃到牛奶、面包、米饭和香蕉。
