The Wizard of Oz

Dorothy lived on a farm with her dog, Toto. One windy day, a huge storm came. Thunder crashed, and the sky turned dark and cloudy. Dorothy felt scared as the wind picked up her whole house and carried it high into the sky!

多萝西和她的小狗托托住在一个农场里。一个刮着大风的日子，一场巨大的暴风雨来了。雷声轰隆隆地响，天空变得又黑又多云。多萝西吓坏了，大风竟然把整座房子都卷了起来，带上了高高的天空！

When the house landed, Dorothy opened the door. Everything outside was strange and colorful. A rainbow stretched across the sky, and tiny people called Munchkins cheered.

房子落地后，多萝西打开了门。外面的一切都又奇怪又五彩斑斓。天空中挂着一道彩虹，一群叫做芒奇金人的小矮人正在欢呼。

"Welcome to Oz!" they said. "You are famous now — your house fell on the wicked witch!" Dorothy was worried. "I just want to go home," she said.

"欢迎来到奥兹国！"他们说，"你现在可出名啦——你的房子正好砸中了那个邪恶的女巫！"多萝西很担心，"我只是想回家，"她说。

"Follow the yellow road," a kind witch told her. "The wizard can help you. But be careful — the journey is long and difficult."

"沿着那条黄色的路走，"一位善良的女巫告诉她，"魔法师能帮到你。不过要小心哦——这段旅程又长又困难。"

On the road, Dorothy met a scarecrow who wanted a brain, a tin man who wanted a heart, and a lion who felt shy but wished to be brave. They became best friends and walked together, through hot deserts and cold, snowy mountains.

在路上，多萝西遇见了想要一个大脑的稻草人，想要一颗心脏的铁皮人，还有一只很害羞、却渴望变得勇敢的狮子。他们成了最好的朋友，一起走过炎热的沙漠，翻过寒冷的雪山。

Finally, they arrived at the Emerald City. The wizard was strange and mysterious, but he was kind. He helped the scarecrow think, the tin man feel, and the lion find his courage.

最后，他们来到了翡翠城。魔法师看起来奇怪又神秘，但他心地善良。他帮助稻草人学会思考，帮助铁皮人感受情感，也帮助狮子找到了自己的勇气。

At last, Dorothy clicked her shoes together. "There's no place like home," she whispered. In a moment, she was back on the farm, safe and happy, with a wonderful story to tell.

最后，多萝西把鞋跟碰在了一起。"没有地方比家更好了，"她轻声说道。转眼间，她就回到了农场，安全又开心，还有一个美妙的故事可以讲给大家听。
